Obama coaches daughter's b-ball team

As if President Obama needed another thing to add to his busy weekly schedule, it turns out he coaches his daughter Sasha's basketball team at Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C.

It makes sense. Obama is a huge sports fan, appearing on ESPN the last few years to fill out his bracket.

He knows -- and loves -- the game. And he's clearly a family man, admitting that he hasn't missed one of Sasha's games yet.

OK, Obama-haters, please note that he's an assistant for the team once a week.

When asked what he works on in practice with the teenagers, Obama said he emphasizes "dribbling, passing, making sure that they're not practicing three-pointers since they can barely get the ball to the basket."

And as for whether or not it's unusual to have the President of the United States coaching his daughter's team? "This is what Dads are supposed to do. They take it for granted," Obama told Katz.
